Surprise Birthday Party

Surprise Birthday Party Decor was pretty unmarked territory for me. Birthday party decorations can be pretty tacky, but who has time to make everything by hand (a la dreamy pinterest decorations)? Handmade birthday decorations can actually be pretty simple, and with a group of people can be made in just a couple of hours. My sister and I used tissue paper to make fun  hanging decorations, and streamers to accent them! Keeping with the color theme, we chose bright orange, yellow, and purple flowers. No cheesy "over the hill" 50th birthday decorations were in sight at this event. We wanted our mother to feel special and happy, not old and drab. Using a theme of her favorite colors, DIY birthday decorations, and fresh flowers, we made a beautiful and pretty 50th birthday party come to life.
