Peppermint Dress in NYC

Happy Sunday! This weekend has been quite busy for me as I wrap up my week-long NYC trip. It's been a great time, spent a a great amount of time with my family, hours traipsing the streets of SoHo, and explored some great restaurants. The weather has been pretty rainy in NYC, so Sunday was a nice change with the sun peaking through every now and then. All of the greenery at our house was especially bright and fresh after all the rain, so I was inspired to take a walk with Nylon magazine in the fresh mint green dress I picked up, by Lauren Conrad. I'm really impressed with her dresses, the fabrics are pretty and the fit is very airy and light, (not to mention affordable!). The accessories are all from Aldo, and I picked up the hat on canal street (bartered for it - $7). To top off the look I included Zara Rose which was fitting for the inspiration of lush greenery and florals.

I'm also excited to add this adorable piece of needle point art to my collection, my Nana made it and said I could take it home with me. Pictures to come of the completed vignette in a few days. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

Below is a polyvore set to get the look, complete with macaroons :D A canole is a feasible substitute.
